🎁 Sunrise Christmas Toy Drive • Gifts for Local Hospital Children
Donate a new, unwrapped toy at Rusch Park and help brighten the holidays for children receiving care through Sutter Health.
The Sunrise Christmas Toy Drive returns for the 2026 holiday season, giving residents an opportunity to support children and families spending Christmas in the hospital. Sunrise Recreation & Park District is once again partnering with Sutter Health’s Child Life Program to collect new, unwrapped toys for young patients.
Sunrise says staff, local businesses, and residents from Citrus Heights, Antelope, and Foothill Farms have contributed dozens of toys during the past two years. Through the Child Life Program, donated gifts are distributed to patients and their families to provide comfort, joy, and a little holiday normalcy during a difficult time.
Donations can be dropped off at the Rusch Park Community Center front office beginning Monday, November 2 through Friday, December 18. Toys should be new and unwrapped, and Sunrise notes that donations of any size can make a meaningful difference for local children and families.
