Folsom AI Meetup • Featuring Matthew Loughran
A relaxed evening of AI conversation, networking, and collaboration with Sacramento Lovable City Ambassador Matthew Loughran.
The Folsom AI Meetup returns to Granite City Workspaces for another casual evening bringing together entrepreneurs, developers, business owners, AI enthusiasts, and curious newcomers interested in exploring how artificial intelligence is being used in real-world products and businesses.
January’s featured guest is Matthew Loughran, Founder & CEO of Craftsman AI and the Lovable City Ambassador for Sacramento. His work includes AI-powered products, SaaS platforms, automation systems, product strategy, customer experience, and rapid application development.
Hosted by Startup Folsom and Granite City Coworking, the monthly gathering emphasizes networking, conversation, and real-time collaboration rather than a formal conference atmosphere. And, in keeping with meetup tradition, Startup Folsom promises its familiar combination of cold pizza and room-temperature bottled water.

🛠️ From Ideas to Working Products
Loughran’s work focuses on turning ideas into real, production-ready products. He has built and launched platforms across areas including AI, fintech, education, local commerce, and community technology, while helping founders use AI tools to build, test, and launch faster.
💼 Who Might Want to Join?
The meetup should be especially useful for entrepreneurs, developers, business owners, product builders, marketers, and AI-curious professionals who want to meet others working with emerging technology and exchange ideas in a more conversational setting.
🍕 Meetup Fuel: Startup Folsom says the evening will once again feature cold pizza and room-temperature bottled water. Apparently the AI keeps improving, but the startup-event catering tradition remains safely human.
