Through the Child Life Program, donated gifts are distributed to patients and their families to provide comfort, joy, and a little holiday normalcy during a difficult time.
Donations can be dropped off at the Rusch Park Community Center front office beginning Monday, November 2 through Friday, December 18. Toys should be new and unwrapped, and Sunrise notes that donations of any size can make a meaningful difference for local children and families.

Paint & Party Co.’s Paint Your Pet on Glass workshop gives participants a chance to transform a favorite pet into a one-of-a-kind piece of framed glass art. Danielle from Paint & Party Co. leads the session using a creative trace, paint, and flip process designed to make the project approachable and fun.
Rather than painting directly from scratch, participants work from a pet image and build the design step by step on glass. The finished artwork is framed and ready to hang, making the workshop both a creative experience and a chance to leave with a personalized keepsake.
The workshop is hosted at The Crafted Canvas in Fair Oaks, a local art studio offering classes, workshops, and community creative events. Supplies are included unless otherwise noted, so participants can focus on the painting and enjoy the process.
