🎄 Sunrise Lights the Night • Holiday Tree Lighting at Rusch Park
Celebrate the season with Santa, hot cocoa, festive activities, letters to the North Pole, and the lighting of the holiday tree in Citrus Heights.
The 3rd Annual Sunrise Lights the Night brings families and neighbors together at Rusch Community Park for an evening of holiday activities and the lighting of the park’s holiday tree. The celebration offers a relaxed way to kick off the season with festive activities, hot cocoa, and community cheer.
Children can write and send letters to the North Pole, take part in seasonal activities, and enjoy a special visit from Santa, who will be available for holiday photos before the evening’s tree-lighting celebration.
Sunrise Recreation & Park District will also collect new toy donations to benefit children and families receiving care in the NICU and PICU at a local hospital. Guests who would like to contribute can bring a new toy to help extend the evening’s holiday spirit beyond the park.
