Día de los Muertos Fiesta: Culture, Remembrance & Community

Honor tradition with vibrant ofrendas, folklórico performances, artisan vendors, and family activities at Archives Plaza in Sacramento on October 9, 2027 from 6 PM to 10 PM.

An anticipated 2027 cultural celebration at the California Museum would continue the Museum’s tradition of bringing art, music, heritage, food, and community traditions together in an evening designed for visitors of all ages. The specific 2027 theme and cultural focus have not yet been announced.

Previous fall celebrations at the Museum have featured live music and dance performances, ceremonial and cultural presentations, artist-created installations, hands-on activities, and opportunities for visitors to engage with history, identity, creativity, and community traditions. Similar events may return in 2027, but the lineup, activities, and participants aren’t locked in yet.

Past events have also included artisan marketplaces, specialty food and drinks, workshops, family activities, and community gathering spaces. BirdcageHeights.com is not assuming that the 2027 event will retain the Día de los Muertos theme, previous program name, or individual attractions.

This placeholder listing will be updated or removed as official information becomes available.
