7th Annual Black Food Festival Love At First Bite

A vibrant Sacramento celebration of Black cuisine, culture, music, creativity, entrepreneurship, and community connection.

Sacramento’s 7th Annual Black Food Festival returns to Florin Square for an afternoon celebrating Black culture, community, and cuisine. This year’s “Love At First Bite” theme brings together families, food lovers, artists, entrepreneurs, and community organizations for six hours of food, music, performances, shopping, and shared celebration.

More than 30 Black-owned food vendors are expected to showcase flavors ranging from Southern soul food to Afro-Caribbean, West African, and other cuisines inspired by the Black diaspora. Guests can also explore artisan vendors, desserts, specialty drinks, live entertainment, cultural performances, family activities, and community resources. Admission is free, with donations benefiting Voice of the Youth programming.
