🗺️ The Online Curator Tour: America’s Independence Story, 1763–1783 explores the American Revolution from a British perspective through highlights from The National Archives’ current Revolution 250 exhibition.
Led by exhibition curators Dr Graham Moore and Dr Sean Cunningham, this online tour examines how Britain understood, governed, and eventually relinquished its American colonies. The presentation follows major political events and conflicts between 1763 and 1783 while considering their effects on rebels, British Loyalists, Indigenous nations, enslaved people, and Black Loyalists.
The approximately one-hour program includes a prerecorded curator-led exhibition film followed by a live audience question-and-answer session . Registration is free, and the private Vimeo viewing link will be sent by email after booking. A Vimeo account is not required.
