🚂 Experience a Piece of Railroad History with the Return of Big Boy No. 4014

Roseville is preparing to welcome back Big Boy No. 4014, the world’s largest steam locomotive, for a special public display on April 10 and 11 as part of Union Pacific’s coast-to-coast steam tour. This remarkable stop gives visitors a chance to see one of the most celebrated locomotives in American rail history up close during its visit to the city.

The train will be on viewing display from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Friday, April 10, and from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 11. On Saturday, the City of Roseville will also host additional activities at Vernon Street Town Square, including a Maker’s Market and live music, creating a lively community atmosphere around this historic event.

The monthlong tour begins March 29 and celebrates 250 years of American independence and innovation. Big Boy No. 4014 will be joined by two commemorative locomotives, including No. 1776America250, a tribute to the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the official train for the United States’ 250th-anniversary celebration.
