🩸 Community Blood Drive

Join the Sacramento Public Library for a community blood drive supporting local hospitals and neighbors in need. One donation can help save multiple lives—this is an easy, high-impact way to give back close to home.

Appointments are encouraged and walk-ins are often welcome if space allows. Please check the organizer page below for the latest date, time, and branch location, and to reserve your spot.

Constructed in 2001, the South Natomas Library is a spacious, light-filled building nestled between the Natomas Rose Garden and the South Natomas Community Center, serving as a vibrant hub for families, students, and community members in Sacramento’s Natomas neighborhood with modern resources and engaging programs.

Operating Hours

  • Sunday & Monday: Closed
  • Tuesday–Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Services & Amenities

  • Collections: Books, periodicals, e-resources, and databases.
  • Technology: 17 public PCs with internet/MS Office, Wi-Fi, 8 laptops, 8 Chromebooks, 6 tablets, 3D printer, photocopier & printer.
  • Children’s Area: Spacious kids’ space with big rug, toy marketplace, and storytimes.
  • Programs: Storytimes, STEAM activities, teen programs, adult book groups.
  • Spaces: Meeting room (capacity 57) with AV equipment for groups or individuals.
