Booth spent more than a decade as a daily newspaper reporter covering complex crime stories before moving into true crime and, later, fiction. She’s the author of the Hank Worth series— The Branson Beauty, Another Man’s Ground, A Deadly Turn, Fatal Divisions, Dangerous Consequences, Home Fires (book 6), and the newest, Throwing Shadows (book 7).
✅ Newest novel: Throwing Shadows (Book 7, Severn House, Aug 5, 2025) — Hank Worth investigates multiple bodies discovered near the ominous “Murder Rocks,” tying past and present crimes together.
We’ll explore Booth’s shift from reporting to crime fiction, how real cases inform her plots, and what’s next for Sheriff Hank Worth. (She’s already at work on future installments.)
