Classic Movie Friday continues at Sylvan Oaks Library with a screening of The Miracle Worker, the acclaimed 1962 drama about Anne Sullivan’s determined effort to help Helen Keller understand and communicate with the world around her.
Directed by Arthur Penn and starring Anne Bancroft, Patty Duke, and Victor Jory, the film is remembered for its powerful performances and its moving portrait of patience, persistence, and breakthrough connection.
This month’s screening takes place on Friday, July 10, from 2:30–4:30 PM in the Sylvan Oaks Meeting Room. Refreshments are provided by the Friends of Sylvan Oaks Library.
